I once had a long, drunken argument about this with a Canadian. He agreed with me at the end - "Who says them dang 'Mericans get to use the term when there's a whole bunch of countries in America!" - but I'm not sure either of us thought we should stick with it the next day....

Duffy's never had to go through that kind of security because his limo usually drives him right up to the plane where he's greeted at the door by a 20 year old blonde handing him a glass of champagne. His only airport experience with us plebes is when he's been forced to go through customs with us.

I have no idea if this is just nonsense, but I saw somewhere recently that Google et. al don't want you to find what you're looking for in the first few hits, because then you won't spend as much time on there.

There are definitely parallels to be drawn with the dot com bubble: Slap an "AI" on your business plan and rake in the money. Why we need it? We don't know but it'll be great!
People are already putting WAY too much stock in this and it's not even actual AI, just fancy pattern matching.
