My mandolin slicer is the reason I own cut gloves. 11/10, recommend. I still sweat bullets using it but I've yet to hurt myself *knock wood*

I mix a tiny bit (1/16-1/8 tsp) with nutritional yeast & he licks out of my hand bc he's *obsessed* with the yeast. Or I'll mix with his Gerber meat baby food I use to give him supplements.

Oh beautiful baby! My void, Leonard, is a CKD cat, too. Diagnosed June '24 at stage 3. I can only imagine how stressful that must have been for you! Just him being sick has me on such an anxiety spiral/anticipatory grief waves. It's such a shit illness.

I have some on hand bc my old man has CKD & kidney cats often get constipated. He's gets sub qs every other day, so it's not common, luckily. One thing with Miralax is don't give to a cat who is dehydrated & make sure it's just the plain regular one. Otherwise, it's super safe.

My vet is wonderful but ofc Tiny had her bout over Thanksgiving 🙃 So e-vet that day, normal vet Fri, then I couldn't get her to eat & reg vet closed on Sun so she went to e-vet for hospitalization Sun-Mon. It's so scary when they stop eating. Hope Zoey is doing well! Tiny is recovered now 🥰

My 14.5 yr old has late stage 3 CKD, diagnosed June '24. Len's still doing well, but we're at stage where his numbers are slowly rising & things pop up that need more meds. LRS every 2 days, heart meds, supplements. I'm hopeful when I hear about others getting lots of good time 💜

Oof I feel you. Our girl had a pancreatitis flare & we did e-vet (it's prob teeth), reg vet (nope pancreatitis oh & her heart looks weird), e-vet (hospitalized for pancreatitis), cardiologist (her heart IS weird but in uncommon way - recheck in March) 🤞🏼 for Sergei!

Most of the girls are absolute hobgoblins (exception is my daughter, Carlotta, who is a golden retriever w zero thoughts) This is Luna; she *bullies* me every day for snacks. If I do not give her the peanuts she desires post haste, she WILL bite me or kick me 😂

I love roos 😭 Brooky does the lomg freeze like a statue & excited eye pin when I offer him a treat from my hand. The only way I can get him to eat his snaccs & not let the gals grab them all is to have him fly up onto my arm first. Even then he tidbit talks to me while he eats 🥰
