had a class today that's 100% Latino kids, all of whom speak some level of Spanish
which is great- I totally love such kids & their families
I had to teach them about the Pilgrims, and the kids asked what "pilgrim" means, and I realized: Latino immigrants are pilgrims. and the US is attacking them
