Why the hell do journalists keep on calling everything "Gen Z led" or "caused by Gen Z". Just say "YOUTH". It's a much better word with more history and greater flexibility.

“This wishy-washy stance when it comes to jaw-dropping cruelty tied to the U.S. is yet another stroke in an increasingly clear portrait: one of PM Mark Carney with his elbows firmly planted to his sides when it comes to big business.”

The PM's statement today goes, "Indigenous Peoples have been stewards of Canada's lands and waters for time immemorial."
But no, Canada has not existed since time immemorial, Indigenous peoples were co-owners of their lands, not stewards of land owned by Canada.

This is a pretty good example of the inherent process of authority and power of representative "democracy". Because it is true. That one man gets to decide for 800 000 people what is done in government and none of them matters to his decisions. Because he makes them for them.

This is why
Stephen Lynch, aiming to be top Dem on the Oversight Cmte, blew up at a constituent who asked him to oppose the GOP.

"I get to decide that. I get to decide that. I get to decide that. I'm elected. I get to decide that. You wanna decide that? You need to run for Congress, okay? I get to decide that"

Fascism did not yet exist in 1798 when the Alien and Sedition Acts were enacted or when the Chinese Exclusion Act was enacted in 1882. That's on democracy and the Western hemisphere not a couple of European countries tainting democracy.

There is this truly annoying trend as of late in animations made for adults where characters constantly talking over each other is seen as "realistic" dialogue.
Honestly, when was the last time you heard anyone repeatedly talk over someone else without at least saying sorry?

Class reductionism is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Many Marxists see movements that are not centred on class as ignoring class struggle, but this happens, in part, because Marxists downplay the importance of other movements.
