My life experiences made me who I am. My choices today will make me who I am tomorrow. All posts in my personal capacity. Reposts or likes not an endorsement.
For those that need to know, life is good. This picture taken a few days ago under a volcano in Japan has a poem which reads - The butterfly’s path ends where smoke begins — a poetic tension between fragility and force, nature’s renewal and its raw power.

We have a long tradition of peaceful protest in the UK which I support.

I deplore all violence, harassment, discrimination and criminality towards our MPs, Peers, Councillors, public servants and charity workers and their facilities as an attack on our democracy and the fabric of our society.

Peace to the world. God bless and keep you in joy and happiness with hope for brighter days of togetherness and love in the future.

My heart goes out to the people of Australia and the people directly impacted on Bondi beach and their families. The world is continuing to be an ever more scary world.

More confirmation the West are already in a hybrid war with Russia
‼️🇺🇸 Russian GRU hackers attacked critical US infrastructure, a grand jury indictment in California has been released.

They carried out attacks on an airport in Missouri, water systems in Texas, Pennsylvania and Indiana, a meatpacking plant in California, and an oil and gas company in Colorado.

Perhaps President Trump should keep out of the politics of other countries and sort out grocery prices and human rights abuses in his own country. Wouldn’t that be a refreshing change?

As a person who lived in the US and owned a homed there for over a decade, I will not be returning until Trump has gone and it has returned to being a civilised free nation where democracy, individual human rights and the rule of law is respected as it used to be.

We need to come to terms with the fact that we are already in hybrid war with Russia and respond accordingly and stop pussyfooting around in Ukraine. @primeministeruk.bsky.social @conservatives.bsky.social

Justice for Hillsborough families was only possible because of the ECHR, enacted through the Human Rights Act. Article 2 (Right to Life) forced the state to investigate, Article 6 (Fair Trial) ensured fairness, and Article 13 (Effective Remedy) gave families a route to challenge failures.

On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we want to highlight how important it is that LGBT+ people with disabilities have access to abuse and violence support services.

We're proud to support all LGBT+ victims and survivors, and we'll keep working hard to make our services accessible.

The women who actually use Kenwood Ladies Pond spoke clearly: the 900 members democratically voted to maintain their trans+ inclusive policy, in place since 2019. 🏊‍♀️

There is a learning for all politicians and political parties to take away from yesterday’s voting in the US. Hope, Community, Human Rights and sticking up for each other are all vote winners. Sorting out cost of living, crime and education are seen as hygiene factors that get you to the party.

Having failed to win the Nobel Peace Prize has Trump decided on starting wars in Venezuela and Nigeria and go for the new category of Nobel War Prize? Is making Canada the 51st State still on the table plus taking over Greenland and the Panama Canal?

Horrible. Very concerning. Thoughts and prayers for victims, their families and everyone affected.

When any political party says it wants to exit the ECHR. It has to explain why it wants to take away these rights from every single person in the UK and what is going to be put in its place of equal or better standing. If not we are all worse off.

It drives me mad people in public office not treating all people with respect and dignity as required by the Parliamentary Code of Practice. Racist behaviour by an MP would likely trigger investigation and possible sanctions under both the Code and the Nolan framework.
