This twice-yearly shot almost completely prevents HIV and is now approved. It could shut down HIV. It needs to roll out in at risk groups. But Trump has gutted HIV prevention at home and abroad. That could be stopped, however. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/18/h...

Juneteenth isn’t just a celebration — it’s a call to action. Because freedom didn’t come all at once, and it still doesn’t come equally. We honor the past by fighting for justice today.

Mr. Trump—I’ve known Chris Van Hollen since the last century, and the last thing anyone who knows him would call him is a grandstander. He’s a defender of human rights. You should meet with him—you could learn something.

"GRANDSTANDER!!!" the president wrote on social media. He later smeared the Maryland immigrant's character, as well.

That’s the part I love.
It is SO unusual for the Supreme Court to issue an order this late at night and honestly incredible only Thomas and Alito noted their dissents.

Also fascinating that SCOTUS rushed out the order before Alito could finish writing his dissent. That basically never happens! Again—majority seems pissed.

The Supreme Court blocked the Trump admin from deporting Venezuelans out of the Bluebonnet facility in TX — for now.

The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 has NO place in modern immigration policy. This pause is a win, but the fight is far from over.

And yes — Thomas & Alito dissented. Of course they did.

Absolutely obvious. We must do everything we can to educate all Americans.
Stating the obvious: tariffs are a regressive tax on the poorest Americans.

A company pays the tariff, and raises their prices to get that money. That price is paid by the consumer.

One of the questions a bishop in the Episcopal Church is asked at their ordination is:

Q: Will you boldly proclaim and interpret the Gospel of Christ, enlightening the minds and stirring up the conscience of your people?
A: I will, in the power of the Spirit.

And she did.
God bless & protect her.
