It doesn’t help that the final line of dialogue in SOGS is similar to what Rafayel and MC said in the dream. Seeing as how SOGS!MC also had a dream that was pretty much 1-1 with what actually happened in FS, some are speculating that SOGS!Rafayel ended up cutting out her heart for real.

I think it's because of the dream MC has in Forgotten Sea. She's walking through the desert, finds Rafayel, is told she'll see the ocean, goes to Whalefall City with him, and gets her heart cut out.
