A recent study examined the reach and accuracy of the most viewed TikTok videos (n = 133) about informal autism information (Aragon-Guevara et al., 2023). The researchers found that 27% of the videos were classified as accurate, while 41% were classified as inaccurate and 32% as overgeneralised.
