Tonight on The X-Files, John Doggett got a hug. Practically third base with his goddess. I thought he was going to die of blue balls. And then he got saddled with a blond infant new partner. He went from Best Day Ever to Worst Day Ever in five minutes. Couldn't even bask in the Scully hug memory.

A concrete is frozen custard blended with stuff. So this was pumpkin pie frozen custard with actual pie mixed in as well.

One of my local go-tos debuted a 3 to 5 happy hour “book club” today. Where you can quietly read or discuss books or whatever you want. My two friends and I are the only people who showed up. 😬 They have cute little fliers and a Jane Austen cocktail and everything.

Just crossed 3000 words on this thing I'm calling Frostburn. 🙌🏽 It bothers me that frostburn is not an actual word. I basically smushed together frostbite and freezer burn. But it fits thematically and sounds sufficiently romantasy-ish. This won't be a long project. I'm not going to pressure myself.
