Absolutely sickening to see LGB Alliance boasting proudly about how they campaigned to ban puberty blockers in the UK.
Ignorantly patting themselves on the back over achieving something which has zero impact on them, but is causing real harm and distress for trans kids like mine.

It's possible but it's illegal - at least when it comes to puberty blockers. Re HRT I don't know the legalities, but at the very least I suspect you'd have social services at your door if they caught you allowing your under 18 to take them. Or perhaps deem you a supplier and arrest you.

And so ends two days of cis people, mostly men, sitting around talking about about trans people, and all pretending the endless transphobic diatribes we had to listen to had anything to do with "women's rights".
I'm cis and even I'm angry. Not one trans people in that court room. It's a disgrace.

Started reading this wonderful book by Eliza Fricker about her experience with Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).
Barely 10 minutes in and it's already brought me to tears. Sadly, it's just too relatable.
Then for us, there are the extra barriers created by the school for trans kids.

And I'm using the quotation marks as it includes such gems as people who have won Jeopardy. And hot dog eating competitions.
A lot of them are highschoolers. A lot didn't compete and are listed as "Would have won". The figures are garbage.

I was looking into this on twitter earlier and discovered she's talking about the UN Rapporteur's report from 27 August 2024, but that in itself pulls the figures from an explicitly transphobic website designed to collate the names of transgender "athletes".
