More remakes should make these kinds of changes. Objectively improving the flow of the experience without taking away any part of the actual design

It’s crazy how many cool and unique spinoff games (and original titles) only existed on the Nintendo DS due to the console’s unique features and limitations. Losing that has been one of the worst things about modern gaming.

Going from this to this is incredibly concerning.
It hits, it hurts and it's telling Kieran is hiding something fierce even as he notes Lauren might only specifically care for the death of the one specific person. It makes sense his masters would tell him to massacre the prisoners but still PAIN

we would never have gotten this, or to a greater extent Shadow's whole character, without that.
