I used an Eva floor mat (fabric, mat, belt loop, rest of foam/tail) and have the bottom of the belt loop at the mid point so most of it it above the center

And just a tight standard thicker belt, it sits more flush if I don't wear it through pant belt loop and can have it a bit more above my hips
