Solidarity Union Network believes that direct action gets the goods, and we love to see it. Solidarity to the Starbucks strikers!
Hundreds of Starbucks baristas and labor organizers blockaded Starbucks' largest distribution center in York, Pennsylvania, halting distribution of syrups, coffee beans, and other supplies to the entire northeast.

This escalation is part of @sbworkersunited.org's ongoing strike.

Flores Magón features in many of our conversation spaces and trainings. He and his comrades are an outstanding example of doing unionism in tight integration with a project to transform society overall.
#OtD 21 Nov 1922 Mexican anarchist communist of Zapotec descent, Ricardo Flores Magón, died after months of illness and neglect in Leavenworth Prison, Kansas. He was one of the major thinkers and activists of the Mexican revolution stories.workingclasshistory.com/article/9420...

Our cards are on the table: we don't believe the problem of a too docile labor movement in face of gut wrenching, racist attacks is a product of which officials are at the top.

We believe the problem is unions with officials at the top, rather than unions directly led and operated by coworkers.

Congrats to the indigenous groups and other working class forces in Ecuador on their victory! Energized by a month long national strike, the movement issued a landslide defeat against a referendum to bring U.S. military bases back to the country and to remove protections against resource extraction.

Thank a trans worker —with material support and solidarity— for revitalizing the labor movement

We will never, ever back up in the face of attacks against the trans members of the SUN community or trans workers anywhere

The green aprons are making history again.

Solidarity with these courageous and visionary workers on strike.
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

“In the gleam of every bayonet and the flash of every rifle the class struggle was revealed”

Eugene Debs had been a traditional unionist who believed in reform. It was the brutal repression of a rail workers strike that turned him both to socialism and to what today we call solidarity unionism.

In care industries and others, employers are genius in guilting workers not to "hurt" the clients by organizing or taking action.

The real danger to folks benefitting from services is the unchecked power of the boss in a non-union workplace.

Organize today for yourself and for those you support.
