legit tho few things are as satisfying to write (and tbh read, a lotta the time) than two characters talking about something completely mundane in an interesting way

streaming really made everyone into a little bitch. data is free. what is or isn't on streaming is only relevant if you're trying to get your grandparents to watch it.

i am personally enthusiastic about narratives that blend cynicism and hope, tragedy and comedy, tension and release, etc. but there’s room for all kinds of approaches, which is good!

“straights broke it with decades of blblablahhblahb” are the words of gutless, weak ppl. stop letting straight ppl break queerness lmao, tragedy is an important part of drama and the problem with the hays code was mostly its moralistic, heteronormative perspective
