I noticed a bird that was with the finches and bluebirds this afternoon, it turned out to be this little cedar waxwing. Usually they are together in large groups so it surprised me.

Chickadees are wonderful in so many ways. They're often the first birds to investigate a new situation, and other birds watch & follow them to find food sources. The friendly local 'dees often bring other birds to my yard, to my delight.
