Pre 9/11, you could bring backpacks to Wolves games.

I’d fill mine with a container of leftovers for dinner and a 6 pack of beer.

Ride my bike to the game from Uptown, and later, the Northside.

Watch KG terrorize opponents. Smoke a heater with Britt on the “patio.” Bliss.
I don’t care about Dort missing shots as much as he’s just lost a step on D, and he fouls at the absolute worst times. The offensive foul on the 3 ball (that went in!) was the dumbest shit I’ve seen in a while. Fouling off ball against the Wolves was mind numbing as well. It might be time.

KAT did his favorite thing. Dropped 40 in a loss.

Give it to the Spurs who look absolutely unbeatable right now. And it’s not even about Wemby. Castle, Vassell, Harper, Fox, Barnes, and Kelton were all big tonight.

Kinda concerning that the few flaws that OKC has, are really, really loud in big games. 1. SGA is legitimately the only offense you can rely on when it matters. Still.
2. They still can’t defend the 3 ball.
3. Dort does the dumbest shit at the worst possible time. Always.
4. Chet shrinks.

If Dub can’t do anything but iso and dribble clock only to boot a prayer floater, maybe he should continue resting that wrist on the bench. Just ugly ugly offense.

The Spurs have OKC’s number. Powerful, lightning fast guards that drive it down the gut, and size behind the 3pt line.

Against the Spurs, it’s Shai against all of that because none of these other dudes show up.

Horrible offense by OkC. Just ass.

Is Daiginault really, really bad at challenges or all these early challenges that are iffy at best just litmus test stuff? Seems like he loses these early ones all the time.

Didn’t love those Aaron Wiggins minutes. Got absolutely cooked a couple times and carelessly threw the ball away. Need more from him with Ajay out.

Crazy that SGA could break a record held by Wilt fucking Chambo in the same year his team could break the all-time win record. I like being a witness to these kind of things.

Is Lil’ Dicky the son of a Hollywood producer or something? I don’t understand his appeal for whatever it is he does. Even as a spokesperson for bodega diabetes booze. Gotta be a nepo.

He ain’t no Paul Barman, that’s for sure.

Apparently the Wolves don't need to give a shit for an entire half. Tie game after being down 16 like 3 minutes ago.
December 22, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Finchy doesn't have the refs to blame in this one, so his next performative stunt will be to self-immolate at center court.
December 22, 2025 at 12:49 AM
If I were Sam Presti, I'd take a big swing at Okongwu from ATL before the Giannis stuff heats up.
*Good size, tough, decent shooter, good rebounder on a mid-level style deal.
*A Wiggs/Ous + late lottery pick + future 1st would do it.
*Lu walks. Sign Caso. Hart gets long term cheaper deal.

Is it wrong to wish Micah Nori was the coach for at least the rest of the season?
December 21, 2025 at 8:28 AM
No surprise Finch's baby tantrum last night was a premeditated and performative display.

When you aren't winning on the floor, spaz the fuck out. The result? Your team gets 17 more attempts at the free throw line.

Yeah, there's an officiating problem, but it ain't the one you think.

OKC managed to only score 12 points in 11 minutes without Shai.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the loss vs Timberwolves: 35 PTS, 5 REB, 7 AST, 2 STL, 2 BLK, 3 TOV, 12-26 FG, 3-7 3P, 8-8 FT, +5, 37 MIN

Mark credits the Wolves right off the top.

He doesn't bitch about the refs, he doesn't throw shade at Ant, he doesn't do all the things Chris Finch does after every fucking match-up between these two teams.

The mental weakness the Wolves display is a Chris Finch problem first.
Mark Daigneault after OKC's 3rd loss of the season (25-3)
December 20, 2025 at 6:44 AM
There will be a lot of talk about this game as some reclamation of the Wolves bumpy start, and Ant was absolutely brilliant for sure.

But I think these two teams just play each other tough, and it's gonna be years of 2-2 regular season match-ups like it has been.
December 20, 2025 at 6:16 AM
Two major fuck-ups by Daiginault tonight:

1. Starting Joe at the beginning of the 3rd over Hart.

2. Playing Lu when he's off-ball fouling.

Two great adjustments by Nori:

1. The Ant rotation to get him on the court while SGA sat.

2. Bones leash to make mistakes (D was chaotic + the 3's)
December 20, 2025 at 5:34 AM
Probably the best clutch performance of Ant's career. And it was mostly about the defense.

If he can just do that more than a couple games a year...

Timberwolves are a mentally weak team and it absolutely starts with Chris Finch. Just childish

Finch is such a goofball, man. It’s the first quarter.

SGA said playing in the 4th quarter?? Nahhhhhh.

He went out and gave the Clippers NINETEEN points in the 3rd.

I had season tickets for 6 years during KG’s prime, and covered the team for part of that. There still hasn’t been a player I’ve seen that could lock in and completely dismantle a team 1-5. Super intense. Super loud. Surprisingly funny. There was a “cult of KG” vibe in the gym, and he earned it.
