Think of it less as praise for the actual people and more as a yearning for the fact that we are in society that trends more towards social support. We're riddled with problems, but in comparison to the US we do have a better safety net.

In a sincere way I think frustration as intentional design is worthwhile. It's part of the emotional register much like failing and trying again. People can stop with a game if it's fully frustrating, but the interplay of frustration with success is what makes it compelling to see through.

At the weekend had a date where she was pointing out multiple Pokémon I couldn't identify. I mentioned I only played the first 2 games and she said her first one was gen 7.
