The first idea only asks the player for more focus without changing anything. You could accomplish the same by generating a new path with each reset. The second idea sounds incredibly cruel and might be worth trying 😈 for the sickos

This was a stretch goal I didn’t get to because I’d have to do some rebalancing depending on if going backwards would reset the multiplier or not. Plus I’d want a different ending depending if you got all your moves in a row or not

Aye! Frustration to the point of tears is a little far even if frustration is part of the design. In this case frustration bc they didn’t understand the mechanics meant I could try to visually communicate the mechanics better.

Still an absolute gem of a game, with a surprisingly un-videogamey story.

While there's some exploration to it, I wouldn't call it a metroidvania either. It's more linear and setpiece/story-driven. About 12 hours, give or take.

Hasn't aged a day, either. Those pixels are still gorgeous.
