Some can't really afford to give Black Friday discounts. They already operate at bare minimum in hopes of very long-term dreams.
At their stage, trading profit for exposure is hard. And they feel it, especially this week.

If you are into anime and you like samurai stuff, go watch The Blue Eye Samurai. Best thing Netflix has done so far. Great storytelling, character, design and animation.
