Pfp is one of Duane Bryers' Hilda Pin-Ups. Hilda, a plus size red head, dressed in a bikini made of flowers, is laying in a hammock hanging over a river. She is reading a book, with one leg thrown over the side.
Banner is a waving progress pride flag.

Until the majority of people can finally accept that all people have worth, and any discrimination for something a person can't change is wrong, and that we need to take care of people who can't care for themselves, fascism is going to keep winning

When we plead with you to wear a mask, we’re trying to help.

We understand that repeat Covid infections can lead to disability and death.

We understand that the government told us to go “back to normal” for the economy, not because it was safe.

An N95 is a great way to safeguard your health!

We need those who claim to be “left” to stop punching down on the disabled, covid cautious and immune compromised.

Masking is resistance.

It’s community care.

The ruling class wants you sick and weak so you won’t fight back.

Healthcare is being gutted.

There’s never been a better time to mask

There’s a lot of speculation about the death of a 44 year old man in an Edmonton ER.

Chronically ill people have been screaming for years about how dangerous the ER can be.

Not enough beds. Not enough staff. Not enough attention paid to misogyny & bias:

"I Won't Go to the ER Unless I'm Literally Dying"
When you're disabled or chronically ill - learning when to seek medical care (and what that care will look like) is a painful and traumatic journey. It often ends in "I will never go to the ER again."

Many Epstein survivors have been waiting 30 years for justice.

They were raped by rich & powerful men.

They went to the police & the FBI.

They were ignored & threatened.

They need & deserve our support now

How they’re treated now will be remembered by every sexual assault victim who comes after

You know, some days I sit and think about how absolutely wild it is that we've built a society where we don't provide a place for people to even sleep at night without having to pay for it, and that we've somehow made it seem like that's normal.

I had to watch Alabama's ban on gender affirming care for minors go into effect. It impacted multiple people in my life. It is cruel beyond words.

Pick up the phone. Call all of your reps. Don't tell me it won't matter--I call Tommy Tuberville. EVERY FUCKIN' TIME. I won't gift them silence on this.
This is possibly the most significant attack on trans rights in this country yet, and I can count the number of posts on my timeline about this on my hands.

If you're trying to dismiss this thinking "It'll die in the senate," DON'T! Sound the alarms now!
Bluesky tonight is neatly divided between trans people and family members appropriately angry and freaking out and everyone else who has barely noticed.

cis people on the skyline are genuinely more distressed by karoline leavitt’s lip fillers than the fact that congress just said, “what we should do is put any doctor or pharmacist in prison who gives lifesaving medical care to this specific kind of child we find gross.”
