I got a certificate today saying I'd been nominated for a Super Streak (kind of like the school's Employee of the Month award). Good way to start the day.

I thought of a simple thing we could do to fight the crap piling up on the world and solving injustice forever.
We put two extra 'e's in when spelling 'penis.'
Seriously, try it.
'Peeenis.'
Now every time someone mentions a penis, it'll be whimsical.
Like, "That Jake Logan is a real peeenis."

All my students, since our February dance is a Gatsby theme.
Anytime someone throws a Great Gatsby themed party, I have to assume they never finished the book.

I use StoryGraph and love it. Move all the things.
I just learned that Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. An alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform (and yes it's really easy to transfer your lists from Goodreads to StoryGraph). You know, while we're moving things.
