Feel, this was a lot of my issue with Hazbin Hotel this season. It felt like a filler arc, a good one, but still filler. Most of the major questions of S1 were left still unaddressed by the end, & what was resolved was stuff that didn't really matter. It's very frustrating.

The trick is always just some premade Hawaiian rolls dude. Good, just lightly sweet, get them in a bunch. Solves all these problems lol.

So now my newest player has been getting a bunch of prologue msgs this week in character about his relationship to a bunch of ppl, little stories to get him to love & care about them, & then how they aren't here anymore & the painful fragments his character remembers about how he got them killed./5

Like, you get to watch as you make a truly feral fanbase for 1 story of like 5 ppl, & it's great. You get to watch 2 ppl handle ship wars by literally being part writer & PLAYING those characters, or setting themselves up to feel the knife of tragedy as both writer, actor, & audience./3
