I grew up in the age of the pen pal. Remember them? A friend that you corresponded to via the US Postal Service. I remember how excited I was to get their letters and write back.
I feel like we did relationships better in that era. Instantaneous communication lets us take friends for granted.

I find it fascinating that the same people who taught me about the End Times and the anti-Christ's coming are the fastest to bend a knee when an actual anti-Christ is elected. Like... are you not paying attention? That's literally who you were warning us about!

There is a curse to wealth.
The wealthy are cursed with ignorance of their own mortality.
All the rich, from 47 to the Musk Rat and all the CEOs will all pass away and die. Their wealth cannot keep them from the fate of all flesh.
But they forget that & so live their days in ignorance.

There is a curse to wealth.

I was taught people are sinfully stained inside from birth onward.
And it affected the way I saw people.
Lately I've been seeing people as good and just trying their best.
And it's changed the way I see them and the world too.
And funny thing. I like the world this way.

I love how quiet BlueSky is... but I'm constantly tempted to return to Twitter.
It's like running into the wastelands on Zelda. The monsters are real and at any time the lightning can strike but the adrenaline is incredible as you fight the bigots and dodge the lightning.
