this "dutch national culture/heritage tradition" to celebrate the birth of a baby boy or girl with either white & blue sprinkles or white & pink sprinkles on beschuit, is LITERALLY younger than i am. meaning my OWN memory of this happening in elementary is wrong, it didn't exist yet

if you have real gamers, my all time favorite "large group only" game is called "falling". everybody's falling and it's about hitting the pavement last, it's a real time card game (the dealer is like the clock basically). it's over in a flash and it's really funny, i love playing it as an in-between

it's a deeply flawed, extremely sweet game for little kids, and narratively, it's just very very good and fairly ambitious. give it a try, you will love the mc escher inspired level if nothing else

i sooo agree... i still dunno why i played yu yu hakusho tokubetsu hen (snes), but this game still lives in my head rent free and i still want to make a game inspired by it. maybe someday!
