Hello, I'm Caine and I like to draw monster people, evil scientists, and occasionally fanart of the things I enjoy! I also do pixel art, and am currently working on original projects 🌠

The curse of long projects is that you change and grow as a person and your experiences might lead you to wanting to tell new or different stories. I don't regret the decision to put it on indefinite hiatus because it will benefit directly from it. And so will my brain

Sorry I speak about Sinfonia as if it was a finished game, it is finished to ME because I have a mostly fully working game version of it and the script has been fully finished since 2018-2019 😭 I promise I will return back to it after I get to work on other stuff for a while

There exists a long essay literally just on Claude and what the hell is wrong with him as, like, a person because at the time he was so wildly out of my depth. God I can't believe there was a time like that. If I didn't have those files I wouldn't probably believe it today

I worked so intensively on Sinfonia that to this day I know exactly and intimately how each character in the large cast talks and walks and gestures and what is happening in their brain but when I was working on first draft I struggled so hard I had to write character essays to nail them down

But also thank god I have enough experience to know it gets better and easier as I continue to write. That said I AM considering what I did with Sinfonia and do a few short stories between script writing to sort of speed up the overall process of learning to play each character confidently

I did NOT miss that part in writing a script first draft where you're still learning to know your characters and their voices and everything feels so bare and it lacks the edge that comes when you are further in the project 😭

It's a really good measure of my life situation because it requires a bit of a set-up and free desk space which both feel like a fucking mountain to climb when things are Dire. And during those times I usually want to prioritise art I can idk finish if I feel like it. This is just doodling
