Historians remind you that, for now, it is theoretically possible for Congress to stop DT, but that once he fires a lot of generals and replaces them with loyalists there may be no practical way to stop him other than blood in the streets.

Despite two court orders, funding from the Infrastructure bill remains frozen. In Georgia it’s $500 million (with local matching funds = $1 billion in frozen projects), mostly for modernizing the electric grid and possibly including repair of the bridge down the street that’s been out since October.

"Silicon Valley built the world" LOL this is what happens when you eliminate history from the high school curriculum and nobody knows about anything that happened more than 10 years ago. I used to talk about this as a wild thought experiment with my students, now here we are.
