Adds Illinois to list of states to look at for grad school… @govpritzker.illinois.gov any recommendations on social work MSW programs?

My board of trustees that conservative, alumni that angry in that volume…I just have a lot of questions. But mostly I don’t want to have to go back to crossing campus just to pee. #confusedbearcat #cincinnati 5/5

If Pinto addressed the DEI topics, why isn’t HE addressing the bathroom issue? Could be strategy, could be something else. But if I’m a UNIVERSITY, and I have a legal team, not to mention a law school, at my disposal, and I still choose to comply in advance - are my lawyers that bad, 4/x

Today, the Vice Provost and the VP of Diversity and Exclusion issued a statement. The university is redoing this. The TLDR of the statement is “Oopsy, we jumped the gun.” The bathroom signage law was unnecessarily vague. The EOs have gotten injunctions ordered against them. 3/x

I’m conflicted about this for a variety of reasons. Pinto, the President, issued the DEI statements. There was a protest (with good turnout!) on campus yesterday for the Board of Trustees meeting. Greg Landsman made a statement. Everyone jumped on this. 2/x
