Late onset poet and grandchild enthusiast.
My daughter's health care premiums doubled for the coming year. Elections have consequences, and the last presidential election had gigantic consequences for real people. I'm glad Trump's rich friends are doing well. Actually I'm not. I'm not at all glad of that.

Not a single building remains intact. There's practically nothing left to rebuild.

Wow. Do we think Bondi and Blanche have lost control over their rancid cover up?
DOJ briefly uploaded this letter from Jeff Epstein to serial child molester Larry Nassar:

"Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to 'grab snatch,' whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system."

If you voted for Trump in 2024 and finally realize that he lied to get your vote and things aren't going well, it's okay to change your mind.

Write your representative in Congress and tell them how you want them to vote. Tell them how things are going. Tell them to hold Trump accountable.

Undecided voter: There are welfare queens who take advantage of the system and take away from those who earned it

Talarico: The biggest welfare queens in this country are the giant corporations that don't pay a penny in federal taxes. It's not hungry kids

So they killed someone who was waving a t-shirt trying to get help. He probably didn't even know he was at war. He brought a T-shirt to a drone fight.

We need a break. We need a break from this insane, cruel, corrupt administration. It's stressing our national mental health to the breaking point. Seriously. The midterms have to break the fever, they just have to.

More than 2,500 Starbucks workers are on strike. They’re demanding dignity: fair pay, safe conditions, a contract that respects their labor.

It’s time their voices are heard at the same volume as CEOs earning millions.

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.

In case you’re wondering why Pete Hegseth is freaking out about a congressional video reminding the military not to participate in illegal orders:
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."

20-year-old West Virginia National Guard member, Sarah Beckstrom, died a day after volunteering to serve in DC so that others could enjoy Thanksgiving with their families. She deserves our gratitude, not political exploitation by a shameless president who scapegoats immigrants to swell his power.
