The creepiest scene in The Mothman Prophecies with Richard Gere. Will Patton calls him on the phone and says he’s with the entity and he talks on the phone…and what happens to Patton’s character…anyways. It’s still the creepiest most chilling scene.

Every story in film, when it touches all our emotions, even subtly, regardless of the genre, becomes memorable and nostalgic. Our lives are stories filled with emotions. The more we can connect these emotions between us, the better people we become.

I made you a gift. I put together a collection of episodes with Jason C. marshall and myself where we talk story and your screenplay.

Smartphone camera gear use alone won’t tell your story as you envisioned.

Happy Holidays!

Before this year ends I’d like to connect here with more artists, storytellers and filmmakers. I host a podcast so content creators are welcome. Why connect? I advocate for all of you. Sometimes promote your work to inspire others in articles and stuff. We need to to unite.

The Plushie Labubus have Overtaken Anime Merch
We are once again talking about Labubus, which we touched on back a few months ago over the summer because they did a collaboration with One Piece and fans went wild. Now for those of you who do not know what these little guys are well...It is a collectable plush toy that has elf/bunny ears and monster-like smiles that include fang-like teeth.

I’m not on socials to debate. I am here to support and celebrate the community and give you a hand at inspiring each other because without each other, the community has no voice and no power. Independent artists, storytellers and filmmakers unite!

People that tell you that you "can't"
Usually don't.
Most gate keepers can only TRY to stop you with words.
Your action, courage & perseverance will eventually smash any keyboard warrior's gate.
Keep going.
The power IS yours.

This movie played itself in my head growing up. Helped me realize stories are the discovery of who we are. And how we connect sharing our stories. I still believe in the magic humans like you express through art. Seize the moment.

“At the center of everything we experience is a story. Stories are always evolving. The only beginning and end to a story is the one that is told or the one we perceive.” Susy Botello
After watching Frankenstein with Guillermo del Toro and having listened to him and the audience reactions during this panel in July, in person, I am inspired because we feel a lot in common about the power of our stories not only on others, but for ourselves. ‘Our human destiny is our story.’ -Me.

For many years speaking and addressing smartphone filmmaking, I’ve tried to convey how our stories are part of a collective story about humanity that includes all of us, if we choose to participate. There are many ways to share stories with each other, but narrative film is the best, in my opinion.
