She persists. Thank you @warren.senate.gov!
Republicans gave $132 billion in tax breaks to the top 1% in 2027.

With that money, we could have extended ACA tax credits for over 20 million people next year and still have $100 billion left over.

What?
Q: Do you have specific AI guardrails you're trying to put together with China?

TRUMP: No. One of the things I talk to China about is the denuclearization of weapons

I'm sick about the latest court decision to allow North Carolina's mid-decade redistricting, er, gerrymandering initiative for the 2026 mid-term elections. To the legislators, lawyers and judges who pushed this change: you should be ashamed of yourselves! How do y'all sleep at night?

Teacher Carly Fox and students at Castilleja School (California I think), thank you for this brilliant and timely way to visualize gerrymandering! Except real life gerrymandering leaves a bitter taste!

Why would so many pages of these emails need to be kept secret? This "release" doesn't seem meant to shed any light at all ... seems like they're still hiding something bad.
NEW: After fighting to keep emails between Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s office and billionaire Elon Musk’s companies secret, officials have released nearly 1,400 pages of documents to The Texas Newsroom.

All but about 200 pages are blacked out.
Gov. Greg Abbott Was Ordered to Release Some of His Emails With Elon Musk. Most Are Blacked Out.
Months after fighting to keep secret emails between Gov. Greg Abbott and Elon Musk, Texas officials released 1,400 pages of records. But they reveal little about the two men’s relationship or Musk’s influence over state government.

I'm grateful for their good intentions. I sure don't want suffering to continue. I'm no political expert. But what happened to the imperative of extending healthcare subsidies for those insured through ACA?

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

🚨BREAKING: The Department of Homeland Security quietly formalized sweeping changes to a federal immigration database, turning it into a national “voter verification” tool that appears to sidestep federal privacy protections and will make it easier to remove large numbers of voters from the rolls.

Precisely. Racism is the gateway to Trump’s power grab.
It is impossible to imagine people allowing this to go on (or even participating in it within the government) if he was ordering the murder without any process of French citizens or Brits or Australians on boats no matter what they were alleged to be doing.
Trump: "I don't think we're necessarily going to ask for a declaration of war, I think we're just gonna kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. We're going to kill them. They're going to be, like dead."

Can we please STOP politicizing gun violence? "The Left did it!" or "The Right did it!" keeps us from having the critically important discussion about gun violence in general.

Today I had to review the definitions between "a plurality of votes" and "a majority of votes." Trump won with less than 50% of the votes cast in 2024. So when someone says he won a majority of the votes, that's not true.

The militarization of cities continues ... an "emergency" when there is no emergency. This is a deliberate provocative act. It's a set up for invoking another one of his insurrections.
In rambling news conference, Trump declares emergency in DC, orders Bondi to take over police there. One problem: crime is now at a 30 year low. Lookiing forward to discussing on @cnn.com in a few minutes, at 1 PM ET.

It has been the honor of my life to serve as Commissioner of BLS alongside the many dedicated civil servants tasked with measuring a vast and dynamic economy. It is vital and important work and I thank them for their service to this nation.
