I literally said it was an ugly phrase - I didn't mean to trigger but I obviously have. You did misread it as I would agree with what you are saying but you seem to want to be insistent that I somehow dismissed you?

I agree that they should make a far more positive argument on the benefits of migration rather than chase Reform voters

You misread it - I meant most people don't hear Labour policy on immigration or any policy for that matter. I wasn't dismissing you, I am talking about something different. I have an opinion on the policy but not mentioned that at all!

Reform supporters don't care what Labour policy is - however awful you might think it is, it doesn't touch the sides as far as Reform supporters go.

You will hear it if you are plugged into a network that has this as a key concern, but I was actually referring to the fact that not many people were familiar with most government policy at all, not commenting on the actual policy.

There is a reform and modernisation programme underway, but I expect it will take a while to implement.

I am not sure I agree with the messaging on immigration, but most people don't hear it anyone. As far a abolishing jury trials - that's something forced on them isn't it? But if they say that - they get slated as they have been in government for 18 months so should have sorted everything by now

If only that worked these days... and it also rather ignores the fact the there are people being paid to create bad news for Labour from anything, policy or personal so actively looking for bad news so nothing escapes them.

It's all working very well for somebody and I suspect they are not looking to support the Green Party to form a government

I bet they would love to hut can we afford to pick that fight? I do see France is developing alternatives digital platforms which is encouraging and there was something about an EU alternative to X

Yes - this is a huge problem and very much outside the governments control and we know the social networks are not going to help given their proximity to Trump

If you think the government is in control enough to 'hide the good stuff' or hide anything, that would mean they have a great deal of control over the comms

I think it's almost impossible to do that - you have to have a way of getting them in front of people and there isn't one. Online and offline, they are outgunned.
