If you're in SF and the property interests you, this is a decent buy. I'd recommend you get him down to $200 / $175, but an E6 error can usually be remedied by clearing out the hopper and cycling it, then performing a reset.

I finally found one of these in good condition for a fair price. Mark V sets were only made for a couple years and had limited distribution at Disneyland. (Most park stores just sold the Disney World Mark VI sets, even in Anaheim)

The biggest problem with Christmas in the Park is the odd vibe it gives me, like it's the setting of a The X-Files cold open where someone is going to get abducted.

Last two pages from my 2025 calendar. The November image was pretty surreal to take and I got there just before the sun began to blaze. That's shot though the fence at the edge of the SF yard.

The year is 1998, and Rhino Records has embarked on a quest to assemble a CD containing the "Best of Anime". Presumably after hundreds of employees watched and listened to every anime every made up to that point, they settled on a fascinating 16 songs to include.

I swear, every railcar seat is 100x more comfortable than the Caltrain EMUs. Gold Runner (Gold Digger) may have all sorts of operational problems but the seats are nice at least.

Interesting, the Roma Playboy suits for this year have different tails as well, more plush and less fur-like (new on the left, old on the right). Rosette ribbons are longer this year too, that's reversed on the picture (old on the left, new on the right).

I will have to say, taken as a whole, the Macross II soundtrack is the best Macross soundtrack. I know I've gained a reputation as a Macross II apologist - but it's really good - J-Rock, idol pop, funk, classical, smooth jazz. And of course Wendy Ryder is still the best Macross idol.

I will have to say, taken as a whole, the Macross II soundtrack is the best Macross soundtrack. I know I've gained a reputation as a Macross II apologist - but it's really good - J-Rock, idol pop, funk, classical, smooth jazz. And of course Wendy Ryder is still the best Macross idol.
Thankfully SCC voters passed Measure A for some bridge funding, so I don't totally have to worry about my public service career being eroded immediately. However I'm still taking a break from socials for a while.
