It’s been a while since I completed the game but Expedition 33’s ending still leaves me with such mixed feelings. On one hand, it’s bold in how it depicts grief being messy and closure not being guaranteed. On the other hand, half the party losing relevance/agency in Act 3 feels SO bad.

been listening to the Metaphor soundtrack again since it’s the one year anniversary of the game, and the music brings back so many fond memories 😭😭 I love that game to bits and I’m so happy I played it at the right time, because it brought me a certain kind of comfort I’ll always be grateful for
