Sun 5 am: Wake up, Bologna-Milan train
Sun 8 am: Milan-airport train
Sun 9 am: Airport security
Sun 12 pm: Flight to JFK takes off
Sun 3 pm (EST): Flight lands at JFK
Sun 4 pm: Drop bag home, shower
Sun 7 pm: Carissa's Wierd reunion show (unelevated stage + tiny room = no views)

Sat 6 pm: Trapped on a sardine packed train that refuses to leave the station for 40 mins bc police won't approve departure with this many people. Kicked off train, forced to take bus.
Sat 8 pm: Finally arrive, showtime, transcend
Sat 11 pm: Mad dash to the bus ensuring my merch doesn't get stolen

Fri 7 pm: get to Unipol Arena hopefully early enough for a decent floor spot, succeed, bask in glory.
Fri 11 pm: realize we're stranded bc the arena is 7.5 mi away from the city and trains end at 10pm. 20k ppl leaving via shuttle is disaster. Many merch thefts occur in the scramble to get on bus.

Now that it's over I can reflect on the insane PBP of it all.

Thu 6pm: Go to JFK directly from work for flight
Fri 11 am: Land in Milan, wait in auto border line
Fri 12 pm: Malpensa Express train from airport
Fri 1 pm: Train from Milan Central to Bologna
Fri 4 pm: Get off train, check in lodging

Imagine having the train network shutdown by 10 when a massive show ends at 10:40 and now 20,000 people have to get 7.5 miles back with only a tiny fleet of shuttle busses available. That everyone violently pushes their way onto out of desperation, leading to multiple merch thefts (bag it, people!)

Imagine running only one train per hour from the city center to your mega arena 7.5 miles away. Now imagine that train got delayed 35+ mins because it was "too overcrowded to depart" and police had to forcibly remove people off the train. A train that is overcrowded bc there are only 4 measly cars
