There was a substack just posted recently that actually identified using the standard percentages, that a family of four is actually in poverty if they make below $130-$150K.
So the idea that a single person could pay rent or mortgage, buy food, and everything else for $1,000/month!? 🙄

If you have millions unemployed, this impacts all businesses. Because that is less money circulating in the economy. Small businesses will shutter (those that have survived the tariffs). Retail and F&B will loose profits and need to lay off their workers.

So what does that leave?

So what happens when you have a collective of over 1 million people jobless and no jobs to fill those unemployed? The report came out back in the summer, so I can’t imagine it’s got any better…do you?

Let that sink in: the average person is ready for the new technology in 3 years.

So now we will have a massive amount of debt for every person taking these 15 years loans that roll over into every new purchase.

And the amount of extra they pay in interest….This is NOT accessibility.

And not to mention the impact to the wildlife and ecosystem. Resulting in wildlife and plant life becoming extinct. Which has butterfly effects in our environment that we don’t even connect as impacts right now.

Thank God for those 30,000 workers they could lay off to save on resource cost and show a higher revenue…..amirite?
