It just astounds me how, amongst all the other gigantic 🚩🚩 he has, he collects Cluster B personality disorders like they're freaking Pokemon and there's still 3ish in 10 that don't seem to understand how severe a problem this is.

I'd been going through posts for 15+ mins and was literally scrolling down a feed when it decided to kick me back to the login.

Is this bc you really don't want people to use the app? Or is it more that you want them to get so frustrated they stop?

The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."

I really hope someone's keeping a list of all the things we'll need to put back right after this is over.

The speed and breadth of the destruction leads me to believe it's well known it's vastly easier to tear down than to create, and they're counting on some things never being made right.

Best case: The President of the United States knew about a pedophilia ring and did nothing to stop it.

Medium case: He also used his office to protect the perpetrators.

Worst case: Because he was one of the perpetrators.

20m will lose healthcare.
Some will die in days, wks, months, some longer.

42m will not be able to eat.
All will die in 2 wks - ~3 months.
Mostly children & elderly 1st.

And so, I don't blame them.
I don't know how I could choose.

There's only one I blame,
for him and his ilk making them choose.

The story I tell myself is that once he petitioned SCOTUS to continue to starve 42m people, 16m of them children, and knowing he doesn't obey the courts anyway, they weighed that people being alive today was necessary to fight for their healthcare rights tomorrow.

Right or not, it's still horrible.

It's only finally just occurred to me that if there was a hearing to determine whether Data had the right to self-determination to join Starfleet, the issue of his right to resign was already decided.

But that would have made for a really short episode, so I guess I get them ignoring that point.
