Bombing a sovereign nation and kidnapping the President is the behaviour of a cowboy state.

The United States’ attack on Venezuela is illegal — and it is utterly shameful that the UK government refuses to condemn this reckless act of war.

I asked the Foreign Secretary whether it would be legal if a foreign power accused the British Prime Minister of breaking its domestic laws, bombed the UK, killed dozens of British citizens and abducted the PM and his wife in the middle of the night.

She refused to answer.

The UK intends to spend £205bn on the Trident Nuclear Defence system.

This system is owned, operated and leased from the USA.

It is therefore completely useless and should be cancelled.

Honestly I know that free healthcare, housing, pensions and university would be great.

But the BEST thing about taxing the billionaires out of existence would be taking their megaphones off them.

Imagine radio, tv and social media without them.

Bliss.

This morning I held a constituency surgery at St Anne’s Church, helping residents with issues ranging from SEND support and housing to Home Office casework.

I’m always here to support Coventry South constituents — please do get in touch via email (address in bio) 😊

Always a pleasure speaking with Warwick students!

Two women told me they first came across my videos when they were 13, and that’s what inspired them to study politics.

Moments like that are why, despite the racist abuse, smears and hostile briefings to right-wing journalists, I keep going ❤️

A brilliant People’s Budget event in Coventry, organised by the local Your Party branch.

This is real participatory democracy — putting power back in the hands of members and communities ahead of the local elections.

It's no coincidence this Labour government, that demonises and impoverishes our disabled community, is also complicit in atrocities abroad.

Keir Starmer’s government has enabled genocide in Gaza — and now wants to funnel an extra £11 billion annually to the merchants of death.

We are doing this so every child has enough to eat, a roof over their head, and a sense of hope that a better future is possible.

We have a precious opportunity to build a mass movement that can transform this country.

Let’s seize it, together.

I am standing with the Village Hotels and Starbucks workers who are challenging the company’s discriminatory low pay structure and fighting for recognition after CEO Gary Davis stated that “money is not a problem” under Blackstone.

I will join them on the picket next week on Thursday 18th December✊🏽

Wow! Congratulations to Andrea Egan, the new General Secretary of UNISON.

As a UNISON member, it was my pleasure to support Andrea. She will be a voice for all members, and will fight for the fairer society they deserve.

See you on the picket line.

NHS staff work under enormous pressure to do the impossible.

They are striking to protect their profession and their patients — and I was proud to join them on the picket line outside St. Thomas’ Hospital this morning.

Solidarity!

The Ministry of Justice is still refusing to meet with the lawyers or families of hunger strikers being held on remand.

This is a shambolic dereliction of duty.

I have written to David Lammy, again, imploring him to do the right thing before it is too late.

I am urgently on my way to HMP Bronzefield.

Palestinian hunger striker Qesser Zuhrah, now on day 46, is being refused an ambulance by the prison.

She is critically ill and at immediate risk of dying.

I have contacted David Lammy and Wes Streeting and received no response.

Just got back from HMP Bronzefield.

Most importantly: Qesser Zuhrah was transferred to hospital via the ambulance she’d been demanding since 5pm yesterday.

David Lammy, Keir Starmer — you are on the brink of causing the deaths of multiple young Palestine hunger strikers.

From 2am, in freezing temperatures, we were forced to protest for more than 12 hours before an ambulance was finally dispatched to HMP Bronzefield so that Qesser Zuhrah could receive the urgent medical care she needs.

We demand immediate bail for all remand political prisoners.
