I hope folks realize that between Trump, Kushner, Hegseth, Witkoff, Noem, RFK, Jr., Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard, this country is almost entirely undefended.
Q: Have you heard this audio that Bloomberg has of Witkoff coaching the Russians on how to appeal to you?

TRUMP: That's a standard thing. He's gotta sell this to Ukraine, he's gonna sell Ukraine to Russia. That's what a dealmaker does. I haven't heard it but I heard it was standard negotiation.

I am old enough to remember when Republicans hotly disputed liberal claims that the U.S. started wars over oil. Now Republicans brag about it.
Rep. Salazar on Venezuela: "We're about to go in ... we need to go in ... Venezuela for the American oil companies will be a field day"

No competent agency announces an investigation at the outset, before it has gathered any evidence. This is about intimidating others who might agree with Kelly into keeping their mouths shut.

It’s like the people behind the Fyre Festival decided to throw a little war
Really looks like the United States is about to launch a regime change war against Venezuela with:

-No casus belli
-No authorization from Congress
-No allies or international support
-No plan for a post-Maduro Venezuela
-No preparation for any sort of stabilization or containment of the fallout

Trump backs a peace plan so one-sided in Putin’s favor that his own Secty of State disowns it in a meeting with Senators. Then the SOS has to deny he disowned it to avoid Trump’s wrath. Chaos, incompetence, and anti-Americanism all at the same time. Incredible.

Man, I’ve spent all this time doing long training runs in the cold and the rain, and it turns out all I needed to do to qualify for Boston was to start watching Fox News.

Trump doesn’t need a House vote to release the Epstein files; he can order it. But now that he’s ordered DOJ to investigate Dems, Bondi will claim she can’t release the files b/c the investigation is ongoing. Then he’ll claim he was for release when he really prevented it. That’s the game, folks.

Imagine you are playing in the Super Bowl and your team is up by 20 points at halftime when your head coach announces he’s forfeiting the game because there’s too much contact and someone might get hurt. What would you say?

“Coach Schumer, maybe you should let someone who wants to win take over.”

Tuesday’s elections were NOT about the Democratic Party.

They were about candidates focusing on the wants and needs of their constituents; about new leaders prepared to fight; about representation in every sense of the word.

Party leaders haven’t absorbed this yet.

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

Boy, there’s nothing quite like belonging to a political party that can’t stomach a fight and will surrender its principles every time. Time to blow it up and vote for every insurgent candidate who won’t respect their elders and who represents change.

Word is that Dems are preparing to cave on the shutdown. Proposed “compromise” reopens govt w/o extending ACA subsidies, in exchange for a promise to vote on extending subsidies in December—a vote Dems will lose. This is surrender. All the pain so far will have been for nothing. Call your Senators!

Hey, @schiff.senate.gov and @padilla.senate.gov, your constituents in California want you to vote NO on the proposed “compromise” that reopens the govt without extending ACA subsidies. Your constituents want you to fight—not to concede a contest you are winning.
