I saw that people were talking about that odd period where Square Enix released a whole bunch of smaller scale games around 2022-2023. Out of all the cult classics that came out of that time, my favorite was definitely Paranormasight. I even made a thread about the history behind the game's creator.
Today is the anniversary of Paranormasight's release back in 2023 on March 8th. This is one of my favorite Japanese adventure games I’ve played in the last few years so, to celebrate, I wanted to repost my thread about the career of the game’s director/writer, Takanari Ishiyama. 🧵

Someday I really hope that Ishiyama's previous adventure game series, Detective Ryosuke Kibukawa, gets an English release. A collection of the series is even coming out on the Switch next year (featuring new cover art drawn by Ace Attorney's Iwamoto Tatsuro).

People saying AI makes writing filler dialogue in games easy have no whimsy. That's the best part of writing game dialogue, i get so carried away doing it in my own RPG projects.

Momo is coming home for Christmas! I get to pick him up later this afternoon. This should be the end of the bills, thankfully, but anything helps. I'm hoping to reach my goal, which is around 75% of the total cost. $3,300 at the first vet, and $11,000 at this hospital. Anything helps! 😺❤️🎄
