Been part of a monthly book club hosted by a local bookstore for a couple of years now. Almost didn’t have the heart to go last night, but turns out community was what I needed. One member passed around a literal basket of original haiku for the new year, each one unique. This is the one I drew.

Ok, education isn’t a magic bullet. It alone is insufficient to dismantle white supremacist identity. Zooming out, there are more voters w/ college degrees (8% in 1960, ~40% now) and *on the whole* a degree has become a good predictor of white folks voting Blue (doubly true of postgrad degrees).
