I personally dislike Black Friday and try very hard not to participate in the feeding frenzy—I love someone who worked at Walmart too much to ever forget stories about real blood getting spilled—but it’s not always desperation for consumption. Sometimes it’s just desperation.

And I love that her trying to be a hardcore Shar's favorite child is her trying to compensate for how much of a failure she is and that her failing in the end was the best thing that could've happened to her.
