Visiting Anchorage, I was impressed by the cyclists out in 9°F (-13°C) weather, on snow and ice-covered paths. You didn't make the list, yet deserve an honorable mention for grit. I feel I've accomplished something heroic if I get out on dry roads and trails at 32°F (0°C).
