ILLEGALLY MARRIED to @melody-the-harpy.bsky.social
He's just utterly resigned himself to this cycle being what the last month of his life is going to be and its genuinely broke me.

I dropped my phone and had to stop reading for a sec when he spoke to pochita because he's just... so hopeless.

Like yeah, it sucks to be the 13th they/them-er today, but it sucks worse to hear the same 'Oh, I'm sorry, well I just use they/them for everyone, even cis people, definitely, and like I wasn't sure, I mean like I just use it naturally, but I'll totally not use it if people ask me not to-'

When a cis woman is misogynistic, it's internalised, because of her patriarchal oppression.

When a trans woman is *also* misogynistic, she is 'male-brained', male-socialised, her gender is called into question, as if misogyny is something women never do.

Trans women can have internalised misogyny.

Like if you just had a fully evil option to leave them in exchange for money, that's fine. But iirc that's not even how it happens? You're just, allowed to leave them, by virtue of them being a loving father and son doing evil shit. It's very weird.

I think some games are so cautious of doing a Molyneux-esque binary moral system that they try to ambiguify choices that... are very much morally binary. So you end up trying to 'personify' CSAM-producers that do not need that treatment.

And you're not *quite* sure if that's just depression, or anxiety, or any number of other things.

It's also very unhelpful that (in my exp.) dysphoria is very hard to notice when you're repressing. When you're transitioning and have an ideal to work towards, it *hurts*, pointedly, to not be at that ideal. But when you're repressing, it's just a vague malaise of sadness and disgust at yourself.

Realising I was trans killed a *lot* of passion for my degree when it dawned on me that there is nowhere OK TERF Island that I will be given a job teaching history to children. It's just not a path open to me, anymore.

I suppose they're the defense and the judge, which feels like there's a bias there.

That girl's pretty smart, fuck those things.

And that *because* it's just oh so safe and uneventful for you, that it's some kind of civic duty to expose yourself to transphobia, to caricatures of your suicide, to racism, to sexual harassment, to people who will gleefully ruin your life. That you need to make yourself visible for them.

It's a truly privileged position to think that 'arguing' with bigots on the Internet (more often they intentionally seek you out and harass you) is just a very uncivil argument. Maybe they'll be a bit mean.

That you won't be harassed endlessly, doxxed, outed to your family etc.
