For context:

Thundurus-T: over 250 DAs without a shiny, spanning almost two years

Fo3 Maushold: over 100 phases (ie., 100 Fo4 Maushold seen), spanning almost three years

Jirachi: over 7300 SRs on a 1/7282 hunt, spanning a little more than a year

It's because there are 65,536 total possible Jirachi that can be received, out of which 9 are shiny.

I'm really hoping I get it soon, I'll be over odds on all of my big hunts if I don't ;-;

I'm just about to hit 7000 resets. Odds are ~1/7282, so uhhhh I'm probably toast 🥲👍

I've had that same thought, that's why I've been speedrunning WISHMKR Jirachi resets lately. Almost at odds 😅
