A fun side effect of volunteering is meeting other private school parents and getting the scoop on the HS’s we are applying to. It’s a nice ice breaker to a couple of hours of running around together.

I nurture my kids relationship with them for my kids. But I really don’t like those people. Wtf was that.

13 and I really are the epitome of Mama Didn't Raise No Fool. 16 on the other hand, likes to learn his lessons the hard way. He gets that from his daddy who doesn't care to learn any lessons lol.

I called this woman out today for not picking up her dog poop outside of school. She called me crazy and a Karen. I calmly said call me whatever you want, but you still need to pick up your dog poop.

Lately I've been leaving my phone in the car when I go to mass. This week I made the kids too. They promptly turned off Bluetooth so no one would break into my car for their very old model iPhones 😆

What is the thought process around controlling your kids? I understand keeping them safe. But telling 13 he can't wear sweats to the dance and 16 that he can't put a big ass Christmas tree in his room? WHO CARES.

16 cleared EIGHT MF'N tacos last night. 13 is going to be pissed that his brother ate his food but he wanted to eat his leftover udon so 🤷♀️
I hate cooking but love that my boys enjoy my food. It's the only motivation I have to cook. Also, I cannot mentally stomach eating out or processed food much.

Throwing away the desserts last night was so easy. I don't want to see another brownie, cookie, or piece cake until Christmas. I made myself a nice sweet potato hash with eggs this morning. Keeping it gluten free with minimal dairy as well.

I kept busy today to trying to get my mind off yesterday. It didn’t work but I finished 13’s applications, listed a bunch of resell items, and decorated for Christmas. I had my elves crafting while I put up lights and garland.
