It's been 2 months since I bought taha.surf and it's still sitting blank. I'm writing this here to make myself to finally deploy something there and submit it on webring.xxiivv.com

A few days ago I got the urge to open up my keyboard and found out that the battery had an 8 month old baby in its belly (no wonder why it was only lasting 10 minutes). Bought and installed a 10,000 mAh battery instead of the original 4,000 and after 10 days, it's at 98%

Never Good Enough
In this post, I try to put my feelings into words about how I constantly struggle to live up to my own unrealistic expectations. This post is for myself but I decided to put it out there in case it he...

I'm at a point where I wouldn't recommend anyone use nix but at the same time, I'm migrating my entire setup to it

I'm currently working on two separate products, for which I'm mostly making decisions alone about the technical side of things and I have so many topics that I could talk about for hours. I really need to have a place to share my thoughts about them

AI misses something that we often refer to as “soul”. For sure in some years it can replace me for what I do but at its current stage, it lacks having _the process_ of creativity which I’m not sure if it’ll ever reach that point

Introducing 🤯 flex-wrap: balance 🤯

Would you use this?

⚠️ Not a real feature yet, just something one of our engineers has been working on.

(You can try it out in the latest Chrome Canary with the experimental web platform features flag though!)

Man, I didn’t know it was this hard to even get noticed by companies that are hiring web devs. I’m about a month in and still haven’t even had a single interview.

What if... now hear me out here.. what if AI is not a fundamental shift in the world order? And is merely a tool? An tool that's imperfect at times but useful some of time? And completely useless at other times? 🤯 Has anyone in our industry considered that?

There are so many things to learn, so many things to do, yet my brain often thinks tomorrow is the end of the world and I haven't done anything

After almost 2 years of working on personal projects and participating in Telegram hackathons (which I regret), I'm running out of saved money. I need to start looking for an actual paying job

Reading this thread was more fun than watching the new deadpool movie
It's not that simple and it feels like you're intentionally ignoring that at this point. By contributing to X you:

1. Implicitly encourage your (large) following to stay on X
2. If you're following stays then even more ppl stay
3. This makes money for Elno via ads and keeps his influence very large

🌠 A long-requested CSS feature is the ability to transition height between a known value (`height: 20rem`) and a derived one (`height: auto`).

A new global CSS property makes this possible now. 😄

html {
interpolate-size: allow-keywords;
}

I wrote this on a slow day.
It’s OK to have a slow day
Feeling guilty about taking a slow day? Take time to rest and recharge. Slow days help you think, reflect, and be creative. You are more than what you produce.

I'm this 🤏 close to finishing my NixOS setup and starting to daily drive it. The next step is going to be using the same config for my Mac.

366 days since I last restarted my M1 MacBook. I'm not sure if I can achieve the same with any other Linux or Windows machine without being careful not to break it when I'm daily driving (skill issue, maybe?)

If you’re currently using Arc and want to explore other options, consider giving Safari a try
I’ve been using Safari full time for a week. I’m not switching back.

Here’s my experience so far 🧵
