in situations like this it helps me remembering that tumblr post about Myth Busters proving that just lying down, even without sleep, does help you feel better and does mean you're still resting, so it's better than doing anything else 8')

two upsides of getting ill during my paid off leave time at work are:
- apparently, every sick leave day during POL is compensated with POL extension, so I have a third week of vacation basically lmao which I'm spending on Silksong ofc
- I literally saved all of my vacation money so now I'm loaded
