What metrics would help a retail investor determine it was a good time to buy bonds? Morningstar shows several bond funds with negative Sharpe ratios. With inflation and taxes and fees subtracting from the return, it seems like bonds are only a hedge.

I found it hard to understand. The translation from Pali and/or Sanskrit required purchase of dictionaries. The comprehension took time to see the truth in my life experience. The practice required several retreats. One can easily think he understands, then see his ingrained mental patterns arise
