In his younger days, and now graying and losing his hair. His ears are always the first thing people comment on!

I have a mix (he’s half Schnauzer with a Schnauzer face and hair and the rest Formosan Mountain Dog, including huge pointy ears), and he’s the loveliest dog I’ve ever known. He’s 16 now and I don’t know if I’ll ever have another dog, but if I do, I’ll absolutely adopt another Formosan/Formosan mix.

I did the same for so many years. When I realized it was ADHD the whole time, it felt like a weight lifted — I stopped regretting all those college majors, endless hobbies, career trajectories. They weren’t failures, it turned out. They just made me into a uniquely skilled and adaptable person! 😁
