Indeed, Karl Rove showed us all how important it is to attack your opponent's strengths. He attacked Gore for "inventing the internet" and Kerry for his military service. In both cases, Democrats got defensive and ran from their strengths. And Republicans won.

While I love The Shining from beginning to end, I get this, and could easily see a 12 year old finding parts of it to be boring. I'd recommend choosing a different movie.

I'm not convinced such an animal exists. These Indiana Republicans probably acted out of fear that further gerrymandering would hurt the GOP in a blue wave.
Where have the conservatives with a conscience been for the last 8 years? The few that exist are already doing what they can to stop fascism.
